Refunds & Returns
At Rapid Med Academy, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to help. Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy below. Please note that images are used for illustration purposes and products may differ from those pictures used for display.
1. Returns
You may request a return within 48 hours of purchase. To be eligible, an item must be unused, in the same condition as received, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or other proof of purchase.
A 50% handling fee applies to all order cancellations and product returns. Approved returns are also subject to a flat R200.00 return logistics fee. Any applicable refund will be issued after processing and will be reduced by these fees.
Items that cannot be returned
We cannot accept returns for:
- Gift cards
- Personal care or sanitary items
- Sterile items
- Wheelchairs and walkers
- Hazardous materials
- Sale or discounted items; only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds
- Orders or items that are no longer needed or wanted, provided the product description matches the request.
All returns must be requested within the 48-hour period and are subject to approval.
2. Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
- All approved refunds are subject to a R350.00 processing fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will only be issued once the returned items have been inspected and verified to be in their original, unused condition. Please allow the standard processing time frame for refunds to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
3. Exchanges
We’ll gladly exchange items if they are defective or damaged.

4. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
For items over R200, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.
