Biotaine in alcohol antiseptic liquid comes in a pack size of 500ml. Patients must not be exposed to or lie or sit in excess of biotaine in alcohol. Allow to dry. Special precaution must be taken where diathermy is indicated. It is used for pre-operative skin disinfection and general antiseptic purposes. It contains 0.5% chlorhexadine and 70% alcohol.
