AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (HCP) Course

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT

Thank you for enrolling in the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (HCP) Course offered by Rapidmed Academy. By registering for this course, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Course Requirements

The AHA BLS for HCP Course is intended for healthcare professionals and other personnel who require certification in Basic Life Support skills.

To successfully complete the course and receive an AHA certification eCard, participants must:

• Attend the entire course as scheduled.
• Actively participate in all practical skills sessions.
• Successfully demonstrate all required BLS skills as prescribed by the American Heart Association.
• Successfully complete any required written and/or practical assessments.
• Comply with all instructor guidance and course requirements.

The American Heart Association establishes the certification standards, and Rapidmed Academy is required to adhere strictly to these standards. Certification cannot be issued to participants who do not meet the required competencies.

2. Training Venue

All scheduled courses will be conducted at:

Rapidmed Academy
46 Mahogany Road
Westmead
Durban

Rapidmed Academy reserves the right to change the venue under exceptional circumstances, in which case all enrolled participants will be notified accordingly.

3. Course Scheduling

Rapidmed Academy reserves the right to reschedule a course should minimum participant numbers not be met or due to circumstances beyond its control.

If Rapidmed Academy is unable to fill a scheduled course, participants will be offered an alternative course date. No additional training fees will be charged for the transfer to an alternative date.

4. Participant Cancellations and Refund Policy

All course cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Refunds will be processed according to the following schedule:

• Cancellation four (4) weeks or more prior to the course date: 90% refund of course fees.
• Cancellation two (2) weeks prior to the course date: 75% refund of course fees.
• Cancellation one (1) week or less prior to the course date: No refund applicable.

All approved refunds are subject to the deduction of any applicable administrative, transaction, banking, and manual processing costs incurred by Rapidmed Academy.

5. Non-Attendance

Participants who fail to attend the course without prior written notice will be deemed a “no-show” and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

6. Transfers

Requests to transfer to an alternative course date may be considered at the sole discretion of Rapidmed Academy and are subject to course availability.

7. Certification

Upon successful completion of all AHA course requirements, participants will receive an official AHA certification eCard in accordance with current American Heart Association guidelines and processing procedures.

8. Liability

Rapidmed Academy shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, natural disasters, public emergencies, venue restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
